Ketogenic or keto diet, has been trending for quite some time.
This diet requires that you focus on consuming moderate protein, high-fat, and low-carb food.
Typically fruits are high in carbs which is why many think they need to stay away from on the keto diet.
However, it doesn’t mean that you should have zero carbs in your diet. Your daily carb intake shouldn’t go past 50 grams.
Although some are problematic, there are many fruits that you are allowed to consume of this high fat diet.
Like anything, the fruits must be consumed in moderation.
The most common fruits known on this diet are Avocados and Berries, However this list contain a few extras for you.

Coconut is a great blittle snack to munch on but make sure you are feasting on the unsweetened version as sugar is often added.

Strawberries in particular have been found to improve blood sugar levels, which is great for those with Diabetes.
At around 5.5 grams of net carbs per 100g , strawberries should definitely be consumed in moderation on the keto diet.
Considering these berries are so sweet, they are significantly lower in carbs than many other fruits, which is why they are a great choice for Keto dieters.
3. Blackberries
Blackberries are packed full of nutrients such as Vitamin C and K.
These little berries can make a great addition to any keto meal.
Overall Blackberries are a great weight loss snack becuase of their low carb count.
4. Avocado
Avocados are a Keto staple.
They are very high in healthy fat and have very little carbs. Avocados can be enjoyed alone or part of a recipe. They taste great in smoothies!
5. Raspberries
Raspberries is a very good choice for your diet plan because berries, in general, are known to be low in carbohydrates and very high in fiber.
In fact, it has the lowest carbohydrates content but it must be consumed in moderation to maintain or achieve ketosis.

6. Starfruit
Starfruit isn’t the first fruit you’d think to eat on the Keto diet, however they are actually one of the best fruits you can enjoy.
If you’re looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, try adding this to your list.
Per serving this fruit has 5g of carbs, and low in calories. Eat in moderation.
7. Tomato
Yet another should-be veggie that’s actually a fruit. At 2 grams of net carbs per half-cup, cherry tomatoes are a great addition to your keto diet.
Avid Sundried tomatoes as these are extremely high in calories.
8. Kiwi
Kiwis complement the keto diet well because of their relatively low carb count. One Kiwi contains approximately 10g of carbs.
These fruits are not ones you’ll be able to eat in abundance, but if you want to add them to a yoghurt or breakfast bowl, go for it!
9. Cranberries
Cranberries by them self are a great food for keto because their carbs and calories are low, in comparison to some other fruits.
Their fiber content and high levels of antioxidants also make them great for your overall health.
Avoid dried cranberries as a snack as these are significantly higher in carbs than the fresh alternative.
10. Blueberries
Blueberries fall in the “sparingly” category with 9g of net carbs per serving.
Eat them for their lush flavor and antioxidants – but try to enjoy only on occasion.

What an amazing little keto snack!
Olives require no prep whatsoever. This fruit is mostly made up of healthy unsaturated fats which is why they made it onto the keto list.
Cooking with Olive oil is a good choice on the keto diet because you are able to consume plenty of the healthy fats that are natural found in Olives.

Not only are lemons and limes are great fruit choice for Keto, but they also play a huge role in your overall health.
Both lemons and limes are high in vitamin C and they contain antioxidants that keep the body healthy.
As a result of consuming lemons and lime you could reduce inflammation within the body, improve blood vessels, and keep the kidneys extra healthy.

Remember like anything, eat these fruits in moderation and make sure you are counting all of your macros to make sure you don’t fall out of Ketosis.
