Losing weight quickly takes a lot of work but it is totally possible.

It is possible to lose 14 pounds in 3 weeks and the 11 tips I have listed below will help you get there!

If you follow all of the tips in this post,  you’ll lose weight fast and if you stay dedicated, you’ll lose the weight forever.

But First..

The tips listed below don’t include obvious weight loss advice such as drinking loads of water and not eating junk food, because..

Well… it’s pretty obvious that those are the things you should be doing anyway if you want to lose weight.

Instead I have listed some proven but lesser known tips to help you reach your weight loss goals!

Lets go..

1. Go down low, real low..

During this little weight loss journey, you’ll need to significantly reduce your carb intake.

By drastically decreasing your carbohydrate intake you can give you body the chance to fill up only on the good stuff!

A low carb diet will supress your appetite and increase your metabolism, which are key to losing weight fast.

The Keto Diet has been proven to have incredible weight loss results after only a week on the diet.

2. Ditch the Stress

If you’re trying to lose weight quickly, the last thing you want to do is get stressed.

Stress is known to trigger the release of cortisol (the stress hormone), which is linked to extreme fat storage. 

If you are fighting with your spouse, or under lots of pressure at work try chilling out.

Try Yoga, or practice inhaling and exhaling whenever you’re in a stressful situation.

It does wonders!

3. Get your Sleep

If you’re sleeping, you won’t be eating right?

No but on a serious note, sleep really does go a long way in helping you shed the pounds.

Studies have shown links between lack of sleep and obesity, so make sure you’re getting 7-9 hours of sleeo every night.

It will help you lose weight and feel better at the same time.

4. Work it Out

It’s hard to imagine losing weight quickly without being somewhat active.

Seriously, getting up and active will give the motivation to reach your fitness/weight loss goals.

Remember though, not to go mad, espcially if you are restricting your calorie intake, as exercise can often make you hungrier.

Exercise is only 20% of the battle when it comes to losing weight, so do as much as you feel comfortable.

The point is to keep active, especially if you work at a desk all day.

5. Don’t eat after 6pm

Intermittent fasting is commonly used as a quick way to lose weight.

It involves you cycling between fasting and eating, where you have longer periods of not eating throughout the day.

The majority of people practice intermittent fasting by fasting for 16 hours, whilst making sure you get in your entire calorie intake in the remaining 8 hours.

Due to the tighter eating schedule, your body has a chance to recover as it will have the chance to burn off the fat stores already in the body.

6. No snacking

Starfruit isn’t the first fruit you’d think to eat on the Keto diet, however they are actually one of the best fruits you can enjoy.

If you’re looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, try adding this to your list.

Per serving this fruit has 5g of carbs, and low in calories. Eat in moderation.

8. Eliminate Temptation

To avoid temptation, do not stock junk food – such as chocolate, biscuits, crisps and sweet fizzy drinks – at home. Instead, opt for healthy snacks, such as fruit, unsalted rice cakes, oat cakes, unsalted or unsweetened popcorn, and fruit juice.

9. Meal Prep

Meal Prepping can take out a sizable chunk of your day; shopping for the groceries, then cooking and storing.

However, this is one of the key steps that helped me lose weight quickly.

When you meal prep your breakfast, lunch, dinner for the week, you’re not only organized but it will almost guarantee you won’t deviate from your food plan and binge.

Make sure you take a list when you go shopping and invest in some meal prep containers to help you along the way..

10. Swap out meat

Swapping out meat for vegetables instead can be a quick way to shed some extra pounds.

11. Be Mindful

Even if you take into all of the above tips, you should still be mindful of the things you’re putting into your body.

Don’t overload on calories but at the same don’t starve yourself.

Mini tips to give you the edge..

Try these mini tips to help you boost your weight loss results:

Drink caffeine

Coffee or other caffiene drinks have been know to speed up metabolism

Add ginger and lemon to your water 

It’ll help with digestion

If you get hungry

If you find yourself reaching for a snack, try drinking water or green tea first. Most of the time we mistake hunger for thirst.

Bottom line..

So there is hope on the Keto diet for all my fellow sweet tooths out there.

You don’t need to give up all of your favourite foods or feel boxed in while your on Keto.

It’s so easy to over eat on fruits, and if you’re on keto this is a huge mistake!

Remember like anything, eat these fruits in moderation and make sure you are counting all of your macros to make sure you don’t fall out of Ketosis.
